MOBILE CAT FEEDING AND MOBILE MICROCHIPPING

DBS Trained, Insured, trained to administer medication by Greensands Vets in Woburn Sands, government authority trained Mobile Pet Microchip Implanter

My name is Lorraine Hearn and I absolutely adore cats and simply love what I do.  I know a number of you cats out there prefer to stay at home while your owners are away.  Well I could help you.

I am fully insured, CRB/DBS checked, Insured and trained to administer medication by Greensands Vets and  own transportation. I am now also fully qualified and signed off by a government authority to do mobile microchipping .  As you are away microchipping laws will be changing in June and it will be made compulsory for all pets to be microchipped  unless you have an exemption from your local vet. Feel free to contact me

I am always happy to help those owners who need a holiday break, need to go away on business trips and for those that require a hospital stay.  If you ask your owners nicely and they provide food and litter trays  they might just allow me to become your friend.  I will feed you, administer medication, set cat timers, clear your litter tray, hug you and brush you if you would like me to. You will have a lovely kitty experience.  Your owners can even ask me to feed and water plants, and open/shut curtains and turn on and off lights at no extra cost.

There are also times when your owners might get delayed on their travels and they worry about you not being fed.  There is no additional cost.  If your owners flights get delayed I will continue to feed you until your owners get homes safe and sound.  They only need to send me a message.

If you get poorly , you will not get neglected.  You will be taken to the vets if needed and I am trained to administer medication so your course of medication can start straight away.

I would  love to meet you and your owners before you go away.  I like to go through all your feeding requirements and what you like to eat.  I can set up a pre meeting with your owners and they have choices of a one to one meeting, facetime and also for your owners that suddenly have to shoot away at the last minute I have my emergency cat feeding questionaire which your owners can fill in

Remember too I will also feed those goldfish, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds .  I l

Your owners will receive regular updates on how you are getting on dependant on their update preferences.

I really hope to meet you and give you a home comfort experience you are so used to.

My rates range from £4.50 per visit to £7.50 per visit (These rates cover a maximum of 3 cats and area dependant.

This is your News Section introductory paragraph. Your News section is a great place to establish yourself as an authority in your field by offering informational articles and resources, or updates about your company to your visitors. If you’ve been making headlines in other media outlets, you can mention that here too. Here in your introductory paragraph, talk about the fact that you’re in the news, making news, or have some exciting updates to tell visitors about!

TRAINED TO ADMINISTER MEDICATION

JANUARY 1, 2023

It is hugely important to me to ensure that I can provide that little bit extra to give comfort to my clients while looking after your cats while you are away.

I wanted to add that little bit extra to my role and with the wonderful support and  help from Greensands Vets in Woburn Sands .  I am trained to administer medication.

You never know while you are away whether your cat may suddenly require medication .  It is a relief to know that if your cat suddenly requires medication or is currently on medication that I can continue administering the medication while you cat is away.

I only ask that all my clients provide enough medication to see their cat through the time you are away and a little bit extra just in case you get delayed on your travels.

Your cat will be in good hands and we will lliaise with you and provide you with updates if necessary.

BOOKINGS

That army of cats keeps me very much on my toes.  As you can imagine there are always peak times of the year where you all like to go away.  Due to this it is a huge help to me that once you have dates that you let me know your dates as soon as possible as I would hate you to lose you booking slot.  Once a client pre meeting has taken place and you are happy to use me again then all you need to do is whatsapp me future dates and I can pop them in the diary for you.

If you flights change it is no problem just let me know as soon as you know and I can update the booking accordingly.

If your holiday gets cancelled please can you let me know as soon as possible.  This gives me an opportunity of opening up a booking slot for another family to take the booking as you can imagine the bookings fill up pretty quick over peak times.

There are also times when I have to close the books off.  It is important to me during busy times of the year that the quality of my work does not flounder so I do have to close the books off at somepoint to ensure that the level of service is maintained.

Your help and support is hugely appreciated.

There is no cost for this pre meeting.  I will visit your home and sit with you to go through all your cat feeding requirements.

This meeting should not take any longer than half an hour.

This option works well with those of you who are working from home who are used to scheduling in conference calls.  We can go through all the necessary cat feeding requirements online.  Again the pre meeting shouldn't take any longer than half an hour.

There are always times when you are suddenly having to rush away.  It could be a last minute late booking on a holiday but you don't have time for a one to one pre meeting or an emergency business trip or hospital stay.  It is times like this that the Emergency Cat Feeding questionaire can be emailed over to you.  Please do get in touch if this option suits you.

MICROCHIP PET SCANNER HOLDER

As you are aware microchipping of cats i  now compulsory.  This means all cats must be microchipped and this can be done at your local vets or rescue centre.

Once your cat is microchipped it is vetal to ensure that if you move that your new address is updated on the microchip database.

There are still a number of pets out there that get lost and rescue centres are fighting a battle trying to locate the lost pet and reunite them with their owners.

Please help us help you.

If you find a stray pet I do have a Microchip pet scanner which I do loan out to residents in Woburn Sands, Aspley Guise and Aspley Heath.

You can also purchase these microchip pet scanners online.  You can tie them to your dog leads too.

AWARDS AND LOYALTY SCHEME

I have felt very humble over the years to have received awards and it is thanks to all of you.  It means an awful lot and to me. To me it is about doing the job I really love.

Customer loyalty means a lot to me but also I like to give something back.  Word of mouth helps maintain my competitive rates so if clients recommend me to others who live in my cat feeding zone area and they book with me.  The clients that recommend me will automatically receive one day free cat feed and those new clients will also receive one. It is my way to say a very big thank you for your support.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS AND SANTA PAWS

I love to get involved in the community events.  This year was a busy one and my cat Hope followed me on my adventures.  This years events involved organising the community scarecrow trail for the Woburn Sands Music Festival and earlier on this year with the help from Men In Sheds organised the community Coronation Crazy Golf Event. I must admit it was hard work but had lots of support from the community  and it was great seeing everyone having fun and still managed to feed my army of cats. Due to work and family comittments I have had to step down from organising events and I thought it would be nice for someone else to take up the reigns and give catwoman a bit of a break from organising events but I willl be re launching community project "Santa Pws".  I have received llots of interest since we announced.  "Santa Psws: was a scheme launched by a local resident in Woburn Sands a number of years ago  It was a scheme where residents can purchase and donate pet food , pet litter and drop these items off at locations around our community.  A few days before Christmas all donated items will be transported to our local animal rescue centres in time for Xmas.  I hope the local community will support me with the venture.  Drop off points will be announcement at a later date and we are aiming to start receiving donations from 1st December.

I love to get involved in the community events. This year I willl be re launching community project "Santa Pws". I have...

DISPOSAL OF CAT LITTER FOR MILTON KEYNES RESIDENTS LIVING ON THE BUCKS BORDER

As you are aware Milton Keynes Council have introduced the new waste collection service.

There has been confusion raised in the past as to how cat owners dispose of cat litter.

Cat litter comes in all different forms from clay based, crystals, through to more organic makes such as wood chippings, popcorn and chicken feed.

Over the years confusion has arisen that Wood Chippings, popcorn and chicken feed are classed as organic and should go in the Green bin.  THIS IS NOT THE CASE.  ALL USED CAT LITTER WHATEVER THE TYPE  is used cat litter is classed as general waste and should be double bagged and go in the black bin with the black lid under General Waste.   I hope you find this  useful
